The 63rd edition of AYMOD reunited the industry

Followed closely by the footwear industry, AYMOD opened its doors to visitors at the 63rd edition. The exhibition, the first gathering of the industry after the pandemic era, is showcasing products by more than 1.000 brands. Thousands of visitors along with buyer delegations from 52 countries including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the USA, and Europe are welcomed at the exhibition.
 
 
One of the greatest gatherings of the global footwear industry, AYMOD – International Footwear Fashion Fair, opened its doors with a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.  AYMOD, organized by CNR Holding subsidiary, Pozitif Trade Fairs, with the cooperation of TASD (Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey) and TASEV (Turkish Footwear Industry Sector, Research, Development and Education Foundation), and the support of KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey), is welcoming visitors at the 63rd edition this year. Taking place at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center until October 3, the exhibition expects visits from thousands of industry professionals. 
 
 
Autumn & Winter Collection 2020 - 2021 introduced
More than 1.000 brands that lead the footwear industry are showcasing their products at the exhibition, which hosts buyer delegations from 52 countries including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the USA, and Europe. The exhibition, displaying thousands of brand new models from women’s – men’s footwear to children footwear, classic, sports, and hand-made shoes, is presenting products of Autumn & Winter Collection 2020 - 2021 to international industry professionals. 
 
 
The Turkish footwear industry to increase its trade rate by 2 billion dollars 
AYMOD, which can fulfill the footwear needs of particularly Turkey and nearly 600 million people from the surrounding region including Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, and Jordan, will offer new business opportunities for exhibitors and industry professionals. The Turkish footwear industry, employing 300 thousand people with nearly 12 thousand enterprises, is showing enormous interest in AYMOD, the first appointment of the industry after the pandemic era. 
 
HES code requirement for participation in exhibitions 
CNR Holding, leading the industry with more than 40 exhibitions held annually, secured the healthcare of its exhibitors and visitors at exhibitions in the new normalization period and adopted a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry to remove potential risks. Accordingly, the entrance and exit points of exhibitions have been rearranged. Body temperature is checked at exhibition entrances. External air is used in ventilation systems and the air inside is kept clean permanently. The number of people at the exhibition venue in the same period of time is restricted. HES codes are requested from exhibitors, visitors, and people in charge at exhibition entrances.
