AYMOD took the footwear industry to the next level

Followed closely by the footwear industry, AYMOD welcomed visitors at the 63rd edition. More than 1.000 industry-leading brands showcased their products at the exhibition, which hosted thousands of visitors along with buyer delegations from 52 countries including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the USA, and Europe.
 
One of the greatest gatherings of the global footwear industry, AYMOD – International Footwear Fashion Fair, opened its doors with a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.  AYMOD, organized by CNR Holding subsidiary, Pozitif Trade Fairs, with the cooperation of TASD (Footwear Industrialists Association of Turkey) and TASEV (Turkish Footwear Industry Sector, Research, Development and Education Foundation), and the support of KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey), welcomed visitors at the 63rd edition. Taking place at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center between September 30 – October 3, the exhibition received visits from thousands of industry professionals. 
 
 
Autumn & Winter Collection 2020 - 2021 was introduced
More than 1.000 industry-leading brands showcased their products at the exhibition, which hosted thousands of visitors along with buyer delegations from 52 countries including the Commonwealth of Independent States, the USA, and Europe. The exhibition, displaying thousands of brand new models from women’s – men’s footwear to children footwear, classic, sports, and hand-made shoes, presented products of Autumn & Winter Collection 2020 - 2021 to international industry professionals. 
 
B2B meetings boosted trade 
AYMOD, which can fulfill the footwear needs of particularly Turkey and nearly 600 million people from the surrounding region including Russia, Ukraine, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, and Jordan, offered new business opportunities for exhibitors and industry professionals. The exhibition witnessed B2B meetings as well as special events and seminars and new trends of the industry were brought up for discussion. 
 
 
The Turkish footwear industry to increase its trade rate by 2 billion dollars 
The Turkish footwear industry, having succeeded in increasing its trade rate by 4.6% compared to the previous year, aims to reach a trade number of 1.2 billion dollars this year. Making its role in the global footwear market of 150 billion dollars clearer each passing day, the Turkish footwear industry is focused on the trade number of 2 billion dollars for 2023. The industry, employing 300 thousand people with nearly 12 thousand enterprises, is getting prepared for AYMOD, the first appointment of the industry after the pandemic period. 
 
HES code requirement for participation in exhibitions 
CNR Holding, leading the industry with more than 40 exhibitions held annually, secured the healthcare of its exhibitors and visitors at exhibitions in the new normalization period and adopted a series of measures under the new “return to normal” criteria determined by the Turkish government and UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry to remove potential risks. Accordingly, the entrance and exit points of exhibitions were rearranged. Body temperature was checked at exhibition entrances. External air was used in ventilation systems and the air inside was kept clean permanently. The number of people at the exhibition venue in the same period of time was restricted. HES codes were requested from exhibitors, visitors, and people in charge at exhibition entrances.
